About Niyya
We are a software company that ships its own products rather than billing by the hour.
Niyya is an independent software company. We design, build, and support our own applications, and we sell them directly to the people who use them — anywhere in the world.
Working on our own products means we answer to users instead of to a project scope. When something is awkward, we fix it in the next release rather than filing it against a change request. It also means we can keep the products small: nothing ships unless it earns its weight.
Our customers are international. The products are built to work the same whether you open them in Riyadh, Rotterdam, or Rio, and the interface reads in both English and Arabic.
Niyya — نيّة — means intention. In the tradition the word comes from, an action is measured by the intention behind it. It is a demanding thing to name a software company after: it means the work is judged by whether it actually helps the person using it.
Useful before clever
A feature earns its place by saving someone time, not by being impressive in a demo.
Small and fast
Tools should open immediately and stay out of the way. Weight is a cost the user pays every day.
Plain language
No jargon in the interface. If a label needs explaining, the label is wrong.
Honest pricing
Try the full product first. Pay only once you know it fits your work.
Have a question before you try?
Talk to a person, not a ticket queue. We read every message.
