Niyya Software — a one person company registered in Egypt and owned by Amr Hafez — decides why and how your personal data is used on this site. Write to sales@niyyasoft.com about anything in this notice.
We use this data to run your account and the tools, to remember your saved work, to take payment and send invoices, to answer you when you write, to keep the service secure and to meet tax and accounting duties. We do not sell personal data and we do not use it to profile you for advertising.
Marketing email is sent only if you ask for it, and every such message has an unsubscribe link. Service email — invoices, security alerts, changes to these terms — is part of the agreement and is sent to every customer.
We use a small number of cookies: one to keep you signed in, one to remember a trusted browser for two-factor sign-in, and one to remember your language. They are needed for the site to work, so there is no advertising cookie and no third-party tracker to accept or refuse.
These providers keep servers outside Egypt, so your data may be processed abroad under contracts that require them to protect it.
Account data and saved projects stay while your account is open, and are deleted when you close it. Chat conversations are deleted after ninety days. Security logs are kept for a short period. Invoices and payment records are kept as long as tax law requires, even after an account closes.
You can ask for a copy of your data, have it corrected, have it deleted, object to a particular use, or withdraw consent you gave. Write to sales@niyyasoft.com and we answer within thirty days. Most of it is also in your hands already: your account page lets you change your details, export your work and close the account.
If you think we have handled your data badly, you can complain to the Personal Data Protection Centre set up under Egypt’s Personal Data Protection Law (Law 151 of 2020), or to the data-protection authority of the country you live in.
The site runs over an encrypted connection, passwords are stored scrambled and never in plain text, two-factor sign-in is available to every account, and sign-in attempts are rate-limited. No system is perfect: if a breach ever affects your data, we will tell you and the authorities as the law requires.
The site is meant for people working in IT and is not intended for children. We do not knowingly keep data about anyone under eighteen.
When the way we handle data changes, we update this page and the date at the top. If a change matters to you, we also send an email.
