Size by virtual machines or by cores and memory, with growth and target load, storage media and protection, GPUs, network, server count and spare capacity. Workload presets fill in sensible starting values.

Each model is sized to the number of servers it needs and scored on ten weighted criteria: compute, memory, storage, GPUs, network and I/O, platform preferences, workload suitability, right-sizing, generation and resilience.

Hard mismatches — the wrong form factor, a hypervisor that does not run on that processor, no redundant power when it is required — are flagged and cap the fit.
